The Maxio integration is enabled as an add-on (via Maxio Support or your CSM) and connects through an API key entered in Maxio's Settings > Taxes screen, along with a configured tax origin address. Once live, Maxio calls Numeral for a "soft quote" when previewing taxes and commits the transaction once a charge is finalized, syncing invoices, voids, refunds, credit notes, customer details, and catalog details.
đ” Tax treatment note: Products and components must be flagged as taxable in Maxio, and a Numeral product tax code is required for any product that's only partially taxable or exempt. Exemption status is maintained in Numeral and honored automatically on Maxio invoices. Only one tax provider can be active per site, and the "Maxio Core to eBill" workflow and subscription groups aren't supported in the initial release.
