The Chargebee integration is a ten-step setup that connects a Chargebee Full-Access API key to Numeral and configures webhook-based invoice syncing, customer address validation, and automated tax on invoices and credit notes. Invoices generate in a pending state long enough for Numeral to calculate the correct rate before finalizing, and only paid invoices and adjusted/refunded credit notes commit back to Numeral for filing.
đ” Tax treatment note: Product categories set in Chargebee don't carry over â set them up directly in Numeral. Customer tax exemptions are marked on the customer's profile in Chargebee under Tax Details. Numeral only collects tax in states where you hold an active registration, and Chargebee's own tax calculation must be disabled before Numeral goes live, to avoid double-taxing customers.
