The Adobe Commerce (Magento) extension syncs cart contents, product data, invoices, and credit memos with Numeral so tax is calculated live at checkout and finalized automatically when an order is invoiced. Creating an invoice commits the tax record; issuing a credit memo reverses it automatically. Works with Adobe Commerce Cloud, on-prem, or Magento Open Source (2.4.x, PHP 8.1ā8.3).
šµ Tax treatment note: If the Numeral API is ever unavailable, the module falls back to Magento's native tax engineābut no tax transaction gets recorded in Numeral for those orders. Periodically check for orders with an empty numeral_calculation_id to catch anything that fell back. Only one tax provider can be active in the store at a time.
